Rock'n the Boat

You might notice two white girls being taken for a canoe ride? This was on our first trip to Peru. On the left is Brenda's daughter Kimberly Hope and on the right is a local Akron girl, Chandra Knowles, who was on the trip with with us along with her mother Kimberly McKee.
Kim Hope has been back to the Amazon twice since that first time. She is a student at Iowa State and aspires to do mission work full-time. This past summer she spent quite a few weeks in Peru with the Dempseys, so she is a great resource of information for us.
